We started AF Clinical & Functional Medicine because we observed too many patients struggling with chronic issues without identifying the underlying causes of their symptoms.
Our distinctive approach blends the rigorous, in-depth training of an International Medical Graduate with the clinical precision of a licensed US telehealth Physician Assistant (PA).
Furthermore, our passion extends beyond the digital clinic; through our AFSteadyCore iniciatives, we lead a specialized team of trained coaches who actively step out into the community to prevent senior falls and empower individuals with official, lifesaving AHA BLS/CPR skills.
This seamless blend of elite medical insight, root-cause healing, and hands-on community protection is what sets us apart.

AFSteadyCore is our specialized community wellness branch dedicated to proactive safety, physical empowerment, and lifesaving education across Central Florida.
Led by our medical insights, our dedicated team of trained coaches delivers evidence-based senior safety and balance workshops (Tai Chi by Dr. Paul Lam and a A Matter of Balance) designed to rebuild physical confidence, improve mobility and eliminate the fear of falling among older adults.
Additionally, we host official, certified American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and CPR providers classes, equipping healthcare professionals, students and community heroes with the practical skills needed to confidently save lives in real-time emergencies.
Through AFSteadyCore, we transform preventative education into scalable, hands-on community protection.
Expertise you can trust
As a uniquely qualified medical professional, I bring a powerful dual background in healthcare. I am an International Medical Graduate (IMG), having earned my Medical Degree in 2019 from the prestigious Catolic Nordestana University in the Dominican Republic, providing deep diagnostic and clinical knowledge. Additionally, I am a certified and licensed Physician Assistant (PA) in Puerto Rico, registered as an Out-of-State Telehealth Provider in Florida, operating in full alignment with the state clinical standards.
I am also a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner and an active, certified American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR instructor, qualifying me to train local healthcare professionals and lead our evidence-based senior safety and balance workshops under the AFSteadyCore program.
Clinical telehealth services are strictly restricted to patients physically located within the State of Florida or the commonwealth of Puerto Rico at the time of the appointment.
